Ünal is 32 years old - and he’s also a real racing enthusiastic - living single in his private live; he says we’ll see what happens next from here inside the forthcoming season - in 2009. This will be his first time with 4 times Drivers Champion - Serkan Yazıcı inside Lassa Rally Team and also rally world. Ünal Tezel is well known with his diciplined work style.

Graduated from Istanbul University - English Economics and now working in private sector in his own business. Tezel is a well known new generation co-driver in Turkey with his past success stories in national rounds.

He held the second best co-driver title inside a very hard racing ground in Turkish Rally

Championship - Castrol Fiesta Rally Cup in 2007.

He's so accustomed to use Lassa Racing Tyre series since he has been racing with them in two seasons and grabbed many podium victories.

Last season - in 2008, Ünal had his challenge with another new generation rally driver Serhat Öztemir in Lassa Rally Team with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII. And held many important degrees and collected many points for the team as well. Ended up with a national title for Lassa, “Teams

Cup Winner" in 2008 - they also held a very precious "Champion" title at the end of the Istanbul Rally Championship; which is a hard run to compete - since many master rally drivers involved in it.

Ünal Tezel has been chosen as the co-driver for Yazıcı in season 2009 by the Lassa Rally Team management. And this season will be a real challenge for him, to compete next to a genuine champion driver with a whole new racing car. As a hard working and successfull new generation co-driver, Tezel is also a fluent speaker in English.
